Katey Namanny is a Policy Associate II at Atlas Public Policy supporting Buildings Hub and the Water Program Portal. Prior to joining Atlas, Katey worked at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, where she supported the Justice40 Initiative and later led communications efforts for the Office of Brownfields and Land Revitalization. In that role, she helped coordinate the agency’s annual Brownfields grants announcement, highlighting more than $260 million in funding for community assessment, cleanup, and revitalization projects. Katey holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Iowa and a Master of Science in Environmental and Sustainability Management from Georgetown University. Her work is driven by a passion for connecting communities with resources and translating complex technical and policy information into accessible, actionable insights.
